It’s a Saturday night in New York City. The evening is distinctly warm, and I have the windows down in my room, feeling the light breeze on my skin as I don a little black dress and slide my stilettos on. The hooting of cars outside and the bright lights of the city begin to kick in, and the excitement and anticipation of what the night could have in store for me in this forever exhilarate city really gets my heart racing.
April has been intense work-wise and I had a need to pop across the pond to New York. Since I hadn’t gone to New York for over 5 years, I had to make the most of the weekend of course! I rushed out of office on friday evening, after a round of shopping at LHR T5, realised that my flight was delayed by 2 hours… hmm, oh wells, who cared… I WAS GOING TO NEW YORK CITY BABY!
Ok, so I don’t like to be judgmental, but I’m a West London kind of girl. I don’t have any strong desire or the need to go or do anything east of Liverpool Street station as far as I am concerned. But there is one thing that will make me go there — the Columbia Road Flower Market.
Happy Easter Sunday everyone!
Mayfair is a glorious area of town to roam around on weekend mornings. A perfect place to catch up for breakfast is only a stone throw away from Green Park station. Just slip into Dover Street and head to Aubaine Mayfair.
